Valspar championship results: Viktor Hovland settles drought

Somehow, to some extent, Viktor Hovland was crowned with the swing of Florida by winning the Valspar-one week after the launch of 80 of the first round of TPC Sawgrass and lost a third consecutive pieces on the players.

Today he started in a share of the lead with Niko Ecavaria and Jacob Bridgman, but he quickly seized control with birds on two of his first three holes. After that, Hovland cools a little, dropping a bullet on the PAR-47, which put it in a tie with Justin Thomas at the top of the leaders at 8 sub-level. But Thomas caught fire on the ninth rear, and made four birds over a five -hole to jump up to 12 without. After Thomas Bird Benser-3 15, Thomas seemed to be the person who picked up a long drying without victory, not Hofland. However, Hofland never folded. Instead, Thomas did, which made the vehicles on the difficult Par-4 16 and 18 to finish in 10 years. Hovland wounded the sixteenth watermelon, thanks to a wonderful approach of 186 yard that settled six feet. This has proven the difference, as Hofelland added another definition in Par-3 17. Then he had a two-shot pad where he played eighteen and eventually won a stroke.

His first victory gives him his first victory since the 2023 round of East Lake and will also provide him with great momentum in Ugosta’s national entry next month. Hoffelland’s swing has been everywhere in recent times, but perhaps he could maintain this groove that enters the largest part of the Grand Championship season.
