Tonga rocked after an earthquake of 7.1 size, about 62 miles northeast of the Pacific Island.
The earthquake struck in the early hours of Monday morning, local time.
A Tsunami Warning Center issued an alert that the dangerous waves could pose a 300 km threat (185 miles) from the mile center.
The Tonga earthquake comes just two days after Myanmar and Thailand were injured with a devastating earthquake of 7.7.
The number of deaths currently is 1700, where people remain trapped under the collapsed buildings.
