Spectrum review: Return the glories of ZX Spectrum games in the 1980s

Spectrum: Feeling of fulfillment of the original

The spectrum is incredibly similar to the original. The best of it, Retro Games managed to re -create Feeling From all of the rubber keys to the game experience. However, I do not recommend playing on a big modern TV, because it seems wrong. Go to a smaller screen with HDMI instead. The cables that come with them are not long enough to sit comfortably with the computer on your lap on the sofa anyway.

I managed to move in the most difficult games thanks to this guide. I am also grateful because the spectrum has modern features such as the ability to provide (four holes per game). You can get 48 classic built -in game in the device, but you can also play your USB stick. The spectrum supports the USB control units (although you may have to program the buttons on your own), but everything can be turned directly from the keyboard. I was a little smaller to try this machine when it came for the first time, so the controls were adventure to master it.

You will find in the HDMI cable (it provides 720 pixels in 50 or 60 Hz) and a USB cable (non -included). You may look modern with USB-C, but you need to choose a simpler strength converter with 5V and 1A. My modern GAN charger did not succeed, but the oldest iPhone charger.

Spectrum: Not everyone

As with all reactionary keyboards that have been re -launched as a new version, the spectrum is not for everyone. For new users, there is a sharp educational curve. I have no memories of the wonderful small home computer for SINCLAIR, but the first games memories have the same graphics and feeling, so it was a pleasure to face this experience. For those who have a ZX spectrum and want to try it again, the spectrum is a fun purchase where you get a lot for your money.
