Providing a new project to track opinion polls

Data that occupies this project is linked at the bottom of our poll.

To make the transition easier for researchers, we submit data almost the same format as 538. These are the well -known differences:

• Poll_id columns, pollster_id, Breartor_ids, BREARTOR_CANDATE_ID and Question_ID indicates the inner identifier that times use, instead of 538 ID. To get a map from 538 identifiers to the new IDS, please send an email to Polls@nytimes.com.

• The values of offer, such as candidates, surveys and sponsors, may not match the values provided by 538.

• The methodology column may contain different values from those guaranteed by the 538 data group.

• The state column will use a consisting of formed people, and it will be filled with us to indicate a national poll. In the 538 Data Group, the column was empty for a national reconnaissance survey and used the names of the in advance.

• The values provided in advance in the Numeric_Grade columns, Pollscore and Transparency_score have no equivalent in the Times data set and are empty.

• URL_ARTICLE, URL_TOPLINE, URL_CROSSTAB, inner columns, politicians – the columns are not now empty, but they may be filled in the future.

• The Created_at field for inputs was set before March 12, 2025, on the date of the approximate release of the reconnaissance.
