Opinion polls expect high wages for Hong Kong professionals, as some reach 5 %

The polls of employment and companies have found that most of Hong Kong professionals can expect wages this year, as more than a third of a third of up to 2.4 percent and others expect up to 5 percent.

At the lower end, the rate exceeds the latest official forecast for the growth of 1.8 percent in the main inflation this year, while civil service employees face wages freezing amid government efforts to address its deficit of $ 87.2 billion ($ 11.2 billion).

The International Employment Agency, which included the Hong Kong employment survey and five other judicial states in late last year, said 77 percent of the city’s professionals can expect this year.

The company said: “The expectations have improved in Hong Kong since 2024, as organizations are looking to provide increases for more professionals working this year.”

She wiped 3670 employees and 8,790 professionals in Hong Kong, the main righteousness of China, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand. Among them are 304 employees and 746 professionals in the city.

The five organizations included in the survey were not only expected to control salaries, and 3 percent of their wage cuts were said.
