March Madness: Geno Auriemma complains of Uconn of the championship system

Geno Auriemma took criticism in the NCAA championship system, where he prepared Uconn Huskies for the Sweet 16 match against OKLahoma Sooners.

The women’s basketball championship moved to two regional sites in 2023, which means that the semi -finals and regional finals will be held either in Birmingham, Alabama or Spokan, and Washington.

Eight groups jammed in each regional location.

Auriemma expressed his contempt for the two regional two, during a press conference, saying, “He destroyed the game.”

He said, “Half of the country has no chance to reach a game personally. But you are making billions of TV. Well, you are not. This will be the men’s championship.” Via ESPN. “So, yes, there are many problems they need to fix. Once again, we can get a victory over A-and this will not change my feelings.”

“In an ordinary world, it is run by ordinary people, there will be only four teams here,” Auriemma added.

“There are a lot of people in the women’s basketball community who think they are more intelligent than [how they run things in men’s basketball]”
