FDA issues are a warning amid a rise in laughing gas injuries

WASHINHUNON – US health officials track an increase in injuries associated with nitrous oxide, or laughter, including some brands sold in small packages that contain flavors such as jungle, strawberry and watermelon.

On Friday, the Food and Drug Administration has warned consumers against inhaling gas for its exhausted effects that could cause a dangerous low blood pressure, leading to loss of consciousness and injuries. The agency has put the brand the number of products sold in colored packages in fuel stations, VAPE stores and online, including cosmic gas, Galaxy gas and Massgass.

Nitrose gas is traditionally used as a sedative for patients in dental offices and hospitals. It is also found in compact boxes of whipped cream. But teenagers and adults have misused these products for a long time to get a height. The gas can shortly disrupt the flow of oxygen to the brain.

Companies that sell the products that the organizers cited “only using cooking” and often announces the evacuation of responsibility on web sites that warn of inhalation. But videos of young people who use products have been entertained on social media platforms for years.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) said it had witnessed a “increase in negative events reports” with nitrous products. The toxic control centers also reported emergency calls from people who had to rush to the hospital after its collapse with the abuse of products.

There are no federal limits for those who can buy nitrous oxide, although some states have exceeded the minimum age requirements. FDA (FDA) organizes gas as a medical product when used by doctors and dentists, although it is not clear how much supervision you will get from the products that are marketed to use cooking.
