Local officials said a Russian drone attack on Kharkiv, the second largest city in Ukraine, hit housing and caused fires late Thursday, killing at least two people and wounding 32.
Regional ruler Oleg Sinhopov, who writes on the Telegram correspondence, said two children were among the injured in the city of Novopavarski in the city.
He said that several multi -storey blocks of apartments were injured, with a fire on the roof of one building. The rescue teams were flowing through the rubble in the search for survivors.
Ihor Terekhov mayor said that the remains of a third person had been found under the rubble.
Syniehubov also said that one person was hit by a plane strike on Ruski Tyshky, a village outside Kharkiv.
